Hi everyone, summer break is here. I was planning to take the kids to the pool today, but hey! They’re both sick!
So I planned some easy crafts for my kids. A great way to keep them busy!
1/ Pom Pom Pencil Toppers:
Let’s make writing letters and short sentences little more fun!

What you need:
• Pom Poms – assorted
• Chenille Stems – assorted
• Wiggle Eyes – assorted
• Glue
• Scissors
• Pencils
Using the longest piece of chenille stems, twist it around your pencil. Remove spiral from pencil. Pick out a pom pom and glue to the top of the chenille stem spiral. Now you get to decorate your little pencil topper.
Just be creative! 😊
2/ Coloring:
Some white papers, paint, and paint brushes will be enough. Ask questions – What do these colors make you feel? Which line you made is the thickest or thinest? Which line is the happiest….My sweet and happy-go-lucky little girl has a big imagination!

3/ Trace you name:
Since my daughter is still learning alphabet, I started with her name. Now, she is able to write her name. Another way for teaching your kids to write their names is to trace their names first.
Write or print you kid’s name on a piece of paper. Put out an assortment of small Pom poms, and glue.
Ask you son/daughter to pick the Pom Pom, add some glue, and stick it on top of each letter. kids under 4 years old will need help with the glue.

I hope these small activities are helpful to keep your little ones busy.
Now it’s time to watch a classic cartoon movie.
