Another visit to the farm:
Today, my kids had a wonderful time at the farm . They loved hanging around their friends the chickens, sheep, a donkey, and a farm dog.
Things to do around the farm:
- Feed and pat the animals at your leisure.
- Play some outdoor games. My kids played soccer with my brother, and had a lot of fun running around the farm.
- Look for eggs in the poultry yard. This was a mission impossible! The chicken did not like it.
- Roast marshmallows at the fire-pit.
- Breathe in some fresh air.

It’s important to teach kids about farm animals, and how to love and care about them.
Help them understand that animals also need to be fed and cared for.
There are some things that you just cannot learn from a book or in school. Farming teaches children of all ages life skills like raising food, working hard, communication, caring for others and much more. 🚜
