What Makes You Happy?

People’s misbehaviors don’t bother me anymore.

When some absurd human beings I met last week thought they’re smarter and stronger, and I was literally not surprised by their nonsense. I didn’t get disappointed at all. Instead, I replied: “I am grateful to you for your help and support.”And I moved on.

That being the case, I have learned how to focus on myself, my behavior, and my self-satisfaction. People’s misbehaviors don’t bother me anymore.

Self-satisfaction is one of the most important concepts people have to reach. It makes them rise above everything that does not suit them, and therefore choose the best for them, and everything that suits them.

Bearing in mind that disappointment does not change anything from reality. And it affects the approach to life in a negative way, so a person must know the correct steps that increase his/her feeling of satisfaction with themselves.

Steps to feel satisfied with yourselves:

1- Count the blessings:

You must feel and count the blessing you are in, and remember that many others wish to reach the state of your life. Good health is a blessing from God that requires prayers and thanks.

Work is a blessing for the person, this is a blessing that deserves thanks, and increases the feeling of self-satisfaction.

Family and a good friend (good friends are rare,) are a blessing as well. You must feel self-satisfied if you are surrounded by people who loves you.

2 – Accepting the self as it is:

A person must accept himself as he is, and not feel resentment over anything he is not satisfied with and cannot change such as the color of the skin, and transform the body; Because self-acceptance is a key to accept others, and not feeling lonely, and it also eliminates the idea that the person’s presence with others is useless, which makes him feel not satisfied with himself.

Feeling like satisfying everyone is impossible. Well, satisfying everyone IS IMPOSSIBLE!

No one is fully accepted by all people. Therefore, a person must accept people’s opinions, and not take the negative from them. Because this will not change anything, but will increase his frustration, and limit his creativity, so it is preferable to take positive opinions and try to develop oneself, to increase the feeling of satisfaction.

3 – Forgiveness:

Forgiving oneself and confronting it, a person must face his/her mistakes and problems, and not evade them, and look for a hanger to hang his/her failures on, and I’ve got a lot!

Rather, he/she must look for useful solutions that end the problem, and change the situation for the better, and it is not only necessary to regret what happened, but to try to change. Because this will increase self-satisfaction, as it is necessary to forgive oneself for everything that has passed; Because forgiving gives him/her the strength to continue, bearing in mind that self-flagellation and reprimand do not change anything from reality except that it delays a person and affects his productivity.

4 – Strengths:

The search for strengths. It should be taken into account that every person has strengths and weaknesses, and that a clever person is the one who searches for his strengths and highlights them, believes in them, and does not allow others to question them, and at the same time tries to address his weaknesses, knowing that when a person thinks in a positive way, he loves himself more, and is more satisfied with himself.

Eventually, we all made some shameful mistakes. However, being grateful about what we have now at the moment, all of the gifts that we are surrounded with and everything that we have access to. Being thankful for whom we are now at this point of time.
