Hello and welcome to the back-to-school season! As a parent myself, I understand the excitement surrounding this time of year. Freedom! ๐ ๐
However, with one child starting kindergarten, another in third grade, and myself also returning to school, I know it will be quite a handful.
Despite the added workload, I am looking forward to having our home filled with books and papers. ๐๐๐๐
I anticipate that we will be spending more time at the library, no let me correct that, librariesโฆand I may even consider going to a university libraryโฆwell, maybe.

One of the main habits we’ve been working on is going to bed early.
It’s been a challenge, as my children are natural night owls and always seem to have an excuse for staying up. My son frequently insists on finishing his Lego creations before turning in, while my daughter requires a lengthy bedtime routine of teeth brushing, hair combing, story reading, and goodnight kisses.
Despite my repeated reminders to go to sleep, my daughter often ends up wandering the halls with her stuffed bear.
I’ve probably scared my neighbors with my loud yelling, “GO TO SLEEP!”
but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have any effect on my kids’ sleep habits. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
How is your back-to-school routine coming along?
