Kids’ Books Review (Weekend Reading)

Hi Everyone,

Another fun reading weekend with my kids! FYI, I do not sponsor books. I just like to share and motivate other parents to read, read, and read books for their kids.

Since it’s Ramadan, I like to explain to my kids why mama and papa are fasting. I really like this book! Even if you have a different religion but trying to raise your kids to understand other perspectives. This is a great book for that. The only thing that can be a little confusing for those non-Muslim readers is some of the phrases that are not explained. Other than that it’s a great kids book and nothing a quick google search can’t solve for.

One of my favorite movies as a kid and now to share the book along with the movie with my kids is awesome. It stays true to the movie and I can hear all the characters voices and picture each scene as I read it to my kids.

One of my daughter’s favorite cartoon characters. Pepa Pig, is a British cartoon, and now a book. The pictures are pretty to look at. My daughter loves it.

Do you love elephants, leopards, chimps, or giraffes? In this ultimate guide, readers can see and learn all about the animals that live and thrive in Africa. National Geographic on every page.

Recommended by one of the bloggers I follow and respect! I never read the narnia tales as a child, so have found this book enchanting. The fight between good and evil is at the heart of the tale. Courage and kindness represented without the exaggerated sentimentalism so present in todays novels. It is of course written for children ,but reading it with old eyes, I realized how important it’s messages are for children today. It is beautifully written, and I will remember it when buying presents for the youngsters in my life.

We didn’t finish the story yet, as I read two pages every night for my kids before they go to sleep.

Also, I was captivated by C. S. Lewis’ brilliant mind and the following:

I wish my daughter has a C. S. Lewis Godfather!
