International Day for Failure

This is going to be very short, and hopefully a positive one…despite the fact that I named it International Failure Day!

So, let me tell you about my last failure Sunday event. It was a university event for 350 people (parents, students, and maybe some faculty members, etc.)

Unfortunately, it was a huge failure, a mess, and a disaster! I failed…for the first time in a while I felt a sense of a total and absolute defeat!

11 employees (servers, dishwashers, and a sou-chef didn’t show up to work.) I had 3 servers only, and myself!

I’m not going to write about all of the things that happened and…details! 🤦🏻‍♀️

But here’s what I learned, life is not always perfect! Life can be tough sometimes, or maybe all the time. We just need to be resilient. Don’t never, never, never, ever give up! Hang in there!

Learn from mistakes and challenges.

This is how my event looked like!

Peace!
