You’ll Never Know…Dear Friend

Dear friend,

If I would have in our lives the right to repeat, I will repeat a moment, a feeling…a laugh we had together.

‎If we could bring the whole life back to our action, and make time stop at what we want and love, we don’t want to grow up. We don’t want to learn and mature, we want to remain that purity with that innocence.

Maybe I became a novel the day I realized that we will no longer be together, and many things happened that you will never know, and I will not tell you.

I dreamed yesterday that I was with you practicing the role of Shahrzad, “the grandmother of novels”, and I was sitting at the other side of your bed, telling you the details of my day, amazed by the first impression of the world, fascinated by narrating my small stories and discoveries that seemed big to me, sitting some of my illusions in life, citing Victor Hugo’s house or a quote to Voltaire.

But that was just a dream…and I love dreaming, because in my dreams, you are actually mine.
