Sucker for Soccer

This is how it all began. It was midnight, and I had just finished reading a book by Nicholas Sparks, but unfortunately, the ending wasn’t a happy one. It left me feeling sad and disappointed, and I regretted reading it. What a disappointing ending!

I went to the kitchen to look for some snacks and water. After getting back to the living room, I sat down and started munching on some cashews while scrolling through my phone. Suddenly, I came across an advertisement for a soccer ball in town, which caught my attention.

This is not any soccer match; this is an English Premier League. The first special event in about 20 years at Kenan Stadium outside of regular football games.

I was overwhelmed with excitement and impulsively purchased the tickets without hesitation. One for me and one for my son.

It’s crazy to think that I bought them at midnight! ⚽️😁🥳
