Do I Really Need Time?

Do you need time?

I do not! I learned how to control my life and time.

It’s crucial to spend your time wisely. I learned this lesson a bit late, but I now know that we can control time if we know how to use it. We should not waste it but use it wisely instead.

We all have busy lives and daily routines, mostly revolving around work and family. However, we should also make time for ourselves. When I look in the mirror every morning, I see that I am getting older, with more grey hair and light wrinkles showing under my eyes. As I approach my 40s, I ask myself if I am doing anything for myself or just wasting time. It’s important to reflect on our use of time and ensure that we’re not squandering it.

When I suggest doing something for yourself, I mean taking care of your well-being. It’s important to maintain good health, read books, travel, and spend time with friends who support and encourage you.

To balance my work-from-home routine, I have added a 30-minute outdoor walk to my daily schedule. I set a reminder on my Outlook calendar called “Outdoor Walk” to ensure I don’t forget.

Another thing I do from time to time, I visit coffee shops alone, where I enjoy a cup of coffee and read books or journals.

A to-do list can help with time management. I have a list of achievable goals to complete by the end of 2023, or before I turn 40, which is a few years from now. They may be small accomplishments, but they are important to me. They are in progress, and I am proud of myself.

I have taken some pictures while I was walking today, and I would like to share them with you:

  1. It’s important to make time for yourself. It’s great that you’ve recognized this and are carving out some time. Some of us learned this a little late in the game. Glad to hear you also focusing on yourself, too.
